Densification Design - PG Bison Livella

PROJECT OUTLINE I Densification Design
This project formed part of the PG Bison  1618 Competition of 2019. The brief is to investigate, conceptualize and develop a residential design model, aimed at middle-income earners, to help facilitate their housing program. The aim is to improve perceptions of urban compaction and attract the growing band of middle-income earners to the city.  As people’s needs change over time, interior spaces needs to expand and reset when no longer required.

CONCLUSION I Levels of nature

We grow in life like the levels of nature.  Just as the name suggests, the concept is about growth and prosperity in everyday life as well as on the long run. The Lavella will take residents on a journey where the environment conforms to their needs with dynamic design and space flexibility. The design welcomes outsiders as well, with the ground floor mall being open to the public from any side of the building. Offices take up the whole second story. From the third level and up residential spaces can dynamically expand and reset to cater to each individual’s needs. Interior and exterior communal spaces together with greenery on each floor encourage and stimulate social interaction. Lavella is the place to go when you’re on a journey to grow.
